
about Pandas
Panda is a mammal that beglongs in the bear family. The distinctive black patches around the eyes is the signature appearance of a panda. A panda generally grows to be about five to six feet long and weighs over 200 pounds. The male panda will have a larger physique than the female panda.
Bamboo plants is the main source of diet for pandas. This endangered species asides in China, mainly in Sichuan Province. Pandas eat 10 to 12 hours a day and intake about 30 pounds of food a day. Pandas are not strictly herbervioes, they have know to consume meat when permits.
Panda bears are not active animals. Out of the day, they are either eating or resting. Panadas enjoy to stay alone and do not like to be bothered. Cubs become independent before they turn two years old.
