Everyone loves dolphines' grace and beauty. People flock to aquariums and zoos to see dolphines. Dolphines live in warm or temperture ocean. There are thirty two spcies, or kinds, of ocean dolphines. While most swim in warm seas, a few species were found in cold polar water. Some dolphines named river dolphines, live in fresh water rivers.Average dolphines usually grow up to six hundred pound and thirteen feet long. Ocras which also called, killer whales is the largest dolphine. The male ocra can grow up to thirty feet long and weigh ten tons. Dolphines are warm-blooded mammals. thier body temperture is between 96 and 98 Fahrenheit which is very close to the temperture of human. A thick layer of fat under their skin keeps them warm as well.

Dolphines usually between twenty five to thirty years old. They are very inteligent animals.Scientists believe it is their nature to help and at some point a person reported that got help from a dolphine. In 1972 the U.S. government passed the Marine Mammal Protection Act to protect them.
